Ephesians 2:4-9 KJV, “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
The plain reading of the Scriptures never mentions the word trinity nor the idea that there are 3 persons or beings fused as 1 god. No where in Scriptures does it teach about God the Father as co-eternal with God the Son. It is indeed a farce for someone to think a father and a son have the same age. It defies human logic and experience. Also there is no Biblical proof that God the Holy Spirit exists and must be prayed to and be worshipped. The trinity doctrine indeed is unscriptural yet billions are blinded and are deceived by this abhorrent insult to the personality of the only true God, our infinite Father, and His Son Jesus Christ.
Someone confessed, “Trinity is not in the Bible but it is there,” Another made a comment, “It does not matter whether you believe in trinity or not to go to heaven.”
John 17:1-3 KJV, “These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”
EG White, SOP Vol 4, 1884, p. 105, writing about Luther and the indulgence, ” As Tetzel continued his traffic and his impious pretensions, Luther determined upon a more effectual protest against these crying abuses. The festival of All-Saints was an important day for Wittemberg. The costly relics of the church were then displayed, and remission of sin was granted to all who visited the church and made confession. Accordingly on this day the people in great numbers resorted thither. On the day preceding the festival, Luther went boldly to the church, to which crowds of worshipers were already repairing, and affixed to the door ninety five propositions against the doctrine of indulgences. These theses he declared himself ready to defend against all opposers.
His propositions attracted universal attention. They were read and re-read and repeated in every direction. Great excitement was created in the university and in the whole city. By these theses it was shown that the power to grant the pardon of sin, and to remit its penalty, had never been committed to the pope or to any other man. The whole scheme was a farce,—an artifice to extort money by playing upon the superstitions of the people,—a device of Satan to destroy the souls of all who should trust to its lying pretensions. It was also clearly shown that the gospel of Christ is the most valuable treasure of the church, and that the grace of God, therein revealed, is freely bestowed upon all who seek it by repentance and faith.”
The doctrines of trinity and indulgence both originated from Rome. They are based on error and are meant to undermine the authority of God’s Word. These doctrines and many other false teachings are known as the wine of Babylon because it intoxicates people and made the inhabitants of the earth drunk with confusion. Trinity destroys the plan of redemption by obscuring Christ’s Divine Sonship and mocking His sacrifice. On the other hand, indulgence transfers redemption from God to the man of sin. The former abuses Scripture revelation of the true God and His true Son while the latter abuses the amazing grace given by God through His Son.
It is no wonder that Sunday law, as enforced soon, is in honor and worship of the trinity and those who will not conform will be punished. And the indulgence is an ecclesiastical sanctioned extortion to build Rome’s magnificent temple in honor and worship of the trinity. Those who opposed it were condemned as heretics and burned at the stake.
These doctrines are still with us today. Rome had not changed. It has modified itself yet it is the same beast revealed in Scripture.
Sadly, those who, like Luther, desires true reformation are being censored, hunted, destroyed, and threatened with death.
Matthew 10:28 KJV, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”
Fear God and keep His Commandments.
Sincerely in the Blessed Hope.
