They Came and Built.

Galatians 6:10 KJV, “As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”

EG White, Ministry of Healing, 1905, Pp. 143-144, “Christ’s method alone will give true success in reaching the people. The Saviour mingled with men as one who desired their good. He showed His sympathy for them, ministered to their needs, and won their confidence. Then He bade them, ‘Follow Me.’

There is need of coming close to the people by personal effort. If less time were given to sermonizing, and more time were spent in personal ministry, greater results would be seen. The poor are to be relieved, the sick cared for, the sorrowing and the bereaved comforted, the ignorant instructed, the inexperienced counseled. We are to weep with those that weep, and rejoice with those that rejoice. Accompanied by the power of persuasion, the power of prayer, the power of the love of God, this work will not, can not, be without fruit.”

Driving 2,774.3 miles one way in about 3 days is not uncommon from the west to the east. Driving as a 74 year old with tools in the back of the car is pure determination. Building a fence after arriving is love in action.

Flying from the west coast to the east coast has a motivation. Flying to have time off work and spend that time building a fence for a friend is love in action.

Ron and Anita drove all the way from CA to SC to meet us. David flew from CA to SC to join us. They showed me their love for God by doing this yesterday:

Not only are we building the fence but we are building fellowship. Ron and Anita came to know me through my testimony shared to them 5 months ago. David, was one of my young adults, when I was a youth pastor 14 years ago. When I accepted the one true God message and His Son Jesus Christ Ron and Anita embraced me as a a part of their own family and David accepted the truth of the non-trinitarian message 5 months ago.
