Philippians 4 (King James Version)
4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.
5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
“It is when we come into difficult places that He reveals His power and wisdom in answer to humble prayer. Have confidence in Him as a prayer-hearing, prayer-answering God. He will reveal Himself to you as One who can help in every emergency. He who created us, who gave us wonderful physical, mental, and spiritual faculties, will not withhold that which is necessary to sustain the life He has given. He who has given us His word—the leaves of the tree of life—will not withhold from us a knowledge of how to provide food for His needy children.” EG White, Ministry of Healing, p. 106.2.
I woke up to a frosty morning. And slowly as the day rises the sun shines. I began with an earnest prayer of faith for God’s leading for my life and for my family. I am forever grateful to the Father and His Son for the blessings that sustained us. I am eternally indebted to the One True God and Christ Jesus.
As we meet for prayer tonight may our thanksgiving and supplications be made known to God our Father. And Christ’s peace will cheer, comfort, and calm our souls.
May I request a prayer for my ministry and my family. Thank you so much.
