Pastor’s Corner

Revelation

There are two courses that I took this winter quarter at Fuller Theological Seminary. One is the “Art of Evangelism” and the other is “Revelation.” I was motivated to enroll this class because I want to know other diverse opinions and commentaries about Revelation. I sat on this class every Tuesday.

One of the interesting things I learned is indeed there are people who interpret Revelation differently and are very sincere about it. As an SDA minister in the class my professor would ask me our stand on a certain passage we are discussing.

I see this book as very important and relevant to read, hear, and to keep the prophecies written on it. In our church there are, albeit, diverse interpretation amongst us too. Yet, I decided to focus this quarter in academic pursuit and practical insights so that I can better prepare for the imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

May I encourage you today to read, hear and keep the prophecies of Revelation. It is worth your time and for eternity.-MLL
