Isaiah 46:9, “Remember the former things of old: for I am God and there is none else; I am God, there is none like me.” KJV. What is “none”? The dictionary defines it as “not any”, “by no amount”, and “in no way.” Simply put God is Himself the Only True God the Father. As a Father no other Father like Him. This is the message that separates truth from error. Not only that the text above mentions it but many other texts throughout the Scriptures. The plethora of texts are overwhelming declaring God as the only One. He is incomparable and His personality is none like any other. He is love.
When we say we have none we really don’t have any. When God says none else He means it. God does not lie though man may lie. God cannot speak lies. His character and choices will not do unrighteousness. He is righteous.
But you may ask what about Jesus? Is He not God? The text above is clear and many other Bible references (Jer 10:6, 1 Sam 2:2, 1 Chron 17:20, i Kings 8:23, 1 Sam 7:22, 1 Cor 8:4-6, etc) that God is the only true God. Jesus is the Son of the Living God therefore He is divine. It means God is the Father and Jesus is His Son not God the Father and God the Son. It you follow the latter you will contradict the Scriptures and confuse the personality of the Only True God the Father. This information could not be interchangeable e.g. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. There are 3 gods or persons, or beings, or whatever you may call it. In essence the Bible is clear there none like God. No other like Him. Not even triune god idea.
When we accept the Bible we are confronted with light that God is One not one in 3. One in all aspects of divinity. His Son is also unique not as another God like the Father but the Son of the Living God. Therefore He is not subordinate nor inferior but rather the exalted Son of the Living God . Jesus Christ became the Son of Man when He disguised Himself with humanity as He is Divine He has the substance of His Father.
The conclusion of the whole matter is fear God and give glory to Him. Which God to fear? If we fear God we also fear His Son. Because they are one and united in love and purpose. But God is not the Son nor the Son is like the Father. Their personalities are different yet they are both Divine.
Thus the doctrine of trinity contradicts the plain teaching of who God is. And we must abandon it and expose its true idea. There is Only One God the Father none else is like unto Him. Amen!
